In the fall of my senior year, I took a packaging design class where we worked with programs such as Adobe Dimension to create mockup products with our designs on them. For this particular project, my class was given the background and branding goals for an imaginary company, Bluebird Vineyards.
We were each tasked to create a wine bottle design that had an upscale yet modern and playful feel. I chose to overlay my design onto a copper can to lean into the rise in popularity of canned wines at that time.
I was inspired by traditional tattoo illustrations when creating the logo because of their timeless yet fresh appearance. I used muted primary colors to maintain a mature, cohesive look.
